V(IV), Cr(III), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes of Synthesis of Novel Metal Complexes derivate from (E)-3-((5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2- ylimino)methyl)naphthalen-2-ol have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-visible spectra, magnetic and conductivity data. All chelates except Ni(II) and V(IV) chelates are found to have octahedral structures. Ni(II) chelate was square-planar in nature while V(IV) chelate may have five coordination.
