High temperature superconductors with nominal composition Bi2- xPb03Znx Sr2Ca2Cu3O1o+s for0≤ x ≤0.3 were prepared by solid state reaction in air. The effect of substitution of Zn on the superconducting properties has been investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysisshowed an orthorhombic structure with a high Tc phases (2223), low Tcphase (2212) and impurity phases .The highest transition temperature obtained for Bi19 Pb0 3 Zn0 1 Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+s was 110 K.
