Effect of Thickness on the Structural and Optical Properties of ZnO Thin Film

ZnO Thin films were prepared with different thicknesses by chemical spray pyrolysis technique. XRD analysis revealed that all the investigated films were polycrystalline with a preferred orientation along the (002) plane. The optical measurement indicate an optical energy gap of (3.26 eV) for (300nm) which increase to (3.3eV) for (500nm). The values of refractive index, Extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant were affected by the increase of thickness.
