Analysis Styles of Geometric Proportions An analytical study of internal elements (windows) in the old city of Mosul

Geometric proportions in architecture patterns represent a design language, as words do in a spoken language. They determine the frameworks within which elements may be arranged into a pattern, a relation between one element and another, and a proportional relation within one element could be clarified through mathematics and geometric, and this research paper presents and trying to identify the proportional analysis styles (numerical and graphical styles), and try to apply them to the interior element. an‎d to explore the proportional systems of interior elements control, the statement of the effect of the different element and different level to achieve these systems proportionality, and to achieve that adopted in this paper approach represents the establishment of data-base for the proposals dealt with systems of proportional relations and styles of proportional analysis within the level (all, part, detail). Then these styles have been applied to the elected elements of traditional housing in the city of Mosul (window), the results showed that the ratio (1:1),(1:√ ) achieved percentage (%56.25) in the Dimensions systems and percentage (%58.3) in relations systems and all levels, the ratio (√ ) have been achieved by a percentage (%58.3) in quadrature system has been achieved (%50), and choose the analytical styles as a system arbitrator, This is so important in achieving a local architecture with distinctive identity, as well as help maintain antiquities.
