The concept of globalization appeared firstly in the field of economy to express a wide spreading phenomenon in last decades that is the phenomenon of increasing production, trade, and all world markets. Some researchers consider the globalization as a feature of the current stage of the development of capitalism, while other researchers regard it as an achievement of a series of development and economic evolution of the fifteenth century (European Renaissance). This achievement is represented in what is provided by the new technology in the field of communication, media, and technology. This research tries to introduce the concept of globalization and identify its essence so as to define and know it in order to clarify its positive or negative effects in various areas (economically, socially, culturally, ....), especially, in the field of architecture, the topic of the research. In order to get to the best way in striving the globalization of architecture and reduce its effects on architecture in the Arab world, a set of conclusions and recommendations are concluded in this research.
