Isolation ,Identification and SurveySarcoptes scabiei(Arachnida;Acarina) in Thi_Qar governorate

This study carried out in Thi-Qar governorate during the period from2000 till 2002 . Atotal of 2152 patients visting three important hospital in Thi-Qar province were found infected with scabies disease . The result appeared 772 patients in 2000 ,886 patients in 2001 and 494 patients in 2002 infected with S.scabiei . The current study revealed high infection in Al-Nasirya district 581 patients with 26.9% and less peak of infection in Al-Refai district 355 patients with 16.4% .
