Identification of the most bacterial isolates from the bile of broiler Chicks by API 20E system

This study was coducted in Thi-Qar Governorate from January 2009 through March 2009. Seventy five samples of the gallbladder were collected randomly from broiler chicks in a sterile containers . All samples were cultured on blood and MacConkey agar for bacterial isolation. The pure isolates were identified by the API 20E system. This study revealed that the most common bacterial isolates which resist and survive the bile constituents was Klebsiella pneumoniae (60%) which was isolated from (45) samples followed by Proteus mirabilis which isolated from (20) samples (26.6%). Where as there was no any other isolates from the other samples (10)which represented to (13.4%).
