This research explores the concept of terminology and investigates its significance in different branches of knowledge. it also examines the history of the language terminology in the modern arabic linguistic studies focusing on how the concept of terminology has been utilized by on of the contemporary pioneers; Tammam Hassan. It leads to determine its attitudes and the ways of wording it which could be seen throughout this linguistic pioneer works whether they were written or translated.
