DETERMINATION OF THE FCC CATALYST ACTIVITY, USING VGO AS FEEDSTOCK

In this work, the catalytic activities of commercial RFCC catalysts have been investigated by Mircoactivity tests. The tests were done in a fixed bed reactor with complete isothermal temperature control. Obviously the activity number of the catalysts was increased by the increase of temperature, but it should be considered that the activity numbers which were higher than 70 are not only because of catalytic cracking but also are due to thermal cracking and over cracking
