Distribution - free prediction of progressively type - II censored order statistics based on k - records from two independent sequences

. In this paper, we study the problem of nonparametric predicting future progressively type-II censored order statistics based on observed upper and lower k-records. Also, outer prediction intervals are obtained for progressively type-II censored order statistics intervals from an independent sample based on observed upper k-records. We show that the coverage probabilities of these intervals are exact and do not dependent on the underlying distribution. Furthermore, we present numerical results for obtained intervals.
