Comparison of photocatalytic efficiency of different MgO catalysts for MB degradation

Abstract— Magnesium oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by precipitation and modified sol-gel methods from magnesium nitrate in presence of citric acid. The photocatalytic activity of synthesized MgOs were evaluated by the degradation studies methylene blue under visible-light irradiation. The Nano-structure MgO particles were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Keywords- ; ;; ; .
