Robust optimization approach to reverse logistic network for third party logistic provider

In this paper, a reverse logistic network (RLN) for third party logistic (3PL) providers with uncertain transportation cost and return product is designed by applying the robust optimization approach. The applied RO approach is tractable than other one. First, a nominal model (NM) i.e. mixed-integer linear programming is proposed and the robust counter part of NM is defined. Finally, the generated solution of robust optimization model (ROM) and NM under random realizations of uncertain data based on robustness and optimality is evaluated. The results show that the robustness of solution gained by ROM and prominence of it.
