Synthesis and Characterization of Alkali Treated Wheat Straw/Fe3O4 Nanocomposite and Its Application for Basic Blue 9 Adsorption

Abstract- The adsorption of Basic Blue 9 (BB9) from aqueous solution by alkali treated wheat straw (ATWS)/Fe3O4 nanocomposite (NC) was investigated. Langmuir adsorption capacity of prepared NC, Qmax was found to be 1374.6 mgg−1. The adsorption of BB9 by prepared nanocomposite followed pseudo-first order reaction kinetics. Keywords - , , , .
