Vulnerability of FTTH Networks

Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology is known as a suitable technology for delivering broadband services in the access networks. However, the corresponding access network may be vulnerable due to deployment of different network infrastructure. So, we should consider the weakness points of deploying this new FTTH technology in the access networks besides of their benefits. This paper points some of the vulnerabilities observed in the process of maintaining these networks. Here, three types of perturbation are predicted: non-destructive non-deliberate, non-destructive deliberate and destructive deliberate.
