The synthesise of chromones derivatives under solvent free condition

Chromones are major categories of heterocyclic compounds containing oxygen that due to their reactivity and biological activity have found more synthetic importance.In this research, the reaction between salicylaldehyde derivativesand DMAD was done on solid bed of zinc oxide in room temperature and under solvent free conditionby grinding method. Chromoneshydroxyl derivativeswere synthesized and characterized with suitable efficiency in 1-1.30 hours. The IR and 1H-NMR spectrawere compared with previous reported compounds and the results showed that these compounds have been synthesized.
