TiO2-SiO2 nanoparticles doped with the lanthanum were prepared by sol-gel method. The characterization of this nanocomposite was conducted by XRD, FTIR and SEM.The nanocomposite size was about 17nm.The effects of initial concentration of dye on the removal efficiency was ascertained.Furthermore lower initial concentration of dye leads to higher removal percent
