Numerical Normal Form of Symmetric Bifurcations of Maps

Symmetric bifurcation of maps is investigated. We obtain their normal form up to cubic order and also explicit formulas for their critical normal form coefficients, by employing standard normalization and center manifold reduction techniques. By using critical coefficients, we can avoid the computations of the center manifold and avoid the transformation of the linear part of the map into Jordan form.
