The ring Fp[u]=huki = Fp + uFp + u2Fp + ::: + uk1Fp may be of interest in coding theory,
which has already been used in optimal frequency-hopping sequence. In this paper we present a
decoding procedure for cyclic codes over the ring Fp[u]=huki, where p is a prime number and uk = 0:
