The main concern of the present study was to compare Iranian monolingual and bilingual EFL students grammar learning in terms of learning future tense(will, be going to) of English to see whether there was a significant difference between monolinguals and bilinguals on grammar learning. To achieve this end, a quasi-experimental design was employed. The homogenized participants of this study were 30 Persian monolingual EFL learners and 30 Azeri-Persian bilingual EFL learners. The grammar pretest and post-tests were administered to both groups of monolinguals and bilinguals. The treatment lasted 7 sessions. The results of t-test revealed no significant difference between two groups regarding their performances on learning English future tense. Therefore the results did not reject the research null- hypothesis. In conclusion, bilingualism did not enhance the learning of the mentioned tense by Iranian EFL learners.
