The aim of this study is to introduce polyurethane (PU) nono-composite foam with both thermal insulation and acoustic absorption properties. By virtue of PU superior vibration damping capability and attractive characteristics such as visco elasticity, simple processing and commercial availability polyurethane foam are extensively applied not only in automotive seats but also in various acoustical and insulation parts. However sound absorption coefficient of closed cell PU (based on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) foams is low. So in this study hybrid of nanoclay and nanosilica was introduce to achieve novel polyurethane with thermal insolation and acoustic absorption perforamance. The results from acoustic measurmaent revealed that incorporation of 4wt% of hybrid fillers increase acoustic absorption coaefficient to 0.9-1. The sample containing 4wt% of hybrid filler showed good thermal insolation.
