WHEN A WARD COMPACT OPERATOR IS COMPACT?

Quasi-Cauchy sequences and ward compact sets are introduced recently by D. Burton and H. Cakalli. Using this con- cepts, we define ward compact operators between Banach spaces as a generalization of compact operators and consider some of their properties. In this article we investigate on compactness of ward compact operators in certain spaces. Some other new results on this subject will be given.
