A Meshfree Local Radial Point Interpolation Method for Two Dimensional Time Fractional Wave-like Equation

The aim of this article is to determine numerical solution of two dimensional time fractional wave-like equation (TFWE) with Caputo fractional derivative of order α (1 α ≤ 2). For this purpose a meshfree local radial point interpolation (MLRPI) method is considered by using meshfree Galerkin weak form for the interior point while the Dirichlet boundary condition is imposed directly. Also, in MLRPI approach, integrations are computed over the local quadrature domains such as circle or square. At the end, a numerical example indicates the comparison of MLRPI method with exact solution.
