Recently, some approaches on the basis of fractional partial differential equations (PDEs)
have been proposed for digital image denoising. One of the most successful PDE-based approaches is a newly proposed fractional diffusion-wave equation with a non-local regularization
Zhang (2014). This paper is devoted to applying a predictor-corrector method for solving a
Volterra integral equation obtained by transforming the proposed fractional PDE.
