Bifurcation analysis of fractional simplified Hodgkin-Huxley model

The Hodgkin-Huxley model was developed to characterize the action potential of squid axon. The dynamics of the model have been extensively investigated. In this paper, the dynamical behaviors of fractional simplified Hodgkin-Huxley model are studied. The GrunvaldLetnikov definition is used to approximate the fractional derivatives. Numerical results are presented and show that dynamical behaviors of fractional model are consistent with the original model.
