In this paper, produced hydrogen as a byproduct during methanol dehydrogenation to methyl formate process is separated and recovered by Pd-Ag membrane. COMSOL Multiphysics 5.3 software is used to evaluate the hydrogen recovery according to membrane properties. It is shown that increasing the membrane length improves the hydrogen recovery. In addition, reaction and separation temperature affect the hydrogen production flux
