Bayesian prediction of k-record values based on progressive first failure censored data coming from exponential distribution

Prediction on the basis of censored data has an important role in lifetime studies. This paper discusses Bayesian two-sample prediction of k-record values based on observed progressive first failure censored data. Considering the parent distribution as exponential, Bayesian prediction intervals as well as Bayesian point predictors of k-record values from a future sequence are derived on the basis of a progressive first failure censored sample
