In this article, we shall study the structure of constacyclic
codes of arbitrary length over the ring $R=F_{p}+uF_{p}$, where
$u^{2}=0$, in terms of ideals of the quotient ring
$\frac{R[x]}{ x^{n}-(a+bu) }$, where $a,b$ are non-zero elements
of $F_{p}$. We shall find a set of generators for these codes
