Recently due to the spatial and temporal dynamics of cancer cells, mathematical models of
tumor growth as a system of integro-differential equations have recieved increasing attention.
Here we consider a mathematical model that describes the growth of a tumor characterized by
the presence of cancer stem cells, which are the main reason of treatment failure and tumor
relapse. Using AVK method we solve the integro-differential system.
