Alternative Legendre Galerkin method for the numerical solution of Urysohn integral equations

In this paper, we consider the alternative Legendre Galerkin method to approximate the solution of Urysohn integral equations. The numerical results show that this method is competitive compared with methods presented in other works. The more advantageous of the method is that high accuracy results can be achieved only using a small number of basis functions.
