Modeling of Tardiness and Earliness Problem on Single Machine Cyclic Mass Production

In this paper, a new programming model was proposed for the first time to find the entrance sequence of different parts of a machine in order to minimize the Tardiness and Earliness costs on 1- Machine Cyclic Mass Production Problem. The model is formulated according to the assumption of the cyclic production and its continuity over time, and also taking into account the different due date of the parts on this cycle. Also, before programming model, an accurate heuristic algorithm was described to better understand the model that more formally track the performance of these models.
