Use of goal programming approach for integrated cutting stock and lot-sizing problems

One of the known problems in operations research is the cutting-stock problem. This paper focuses on the integrated two-dimensional cutting-stock problem. In fact, the two-dimensional cutting-stock problem and the lot-sizing problem are considered to be integrated, and a model is presented in the format of goal programming approach. Two goals are considered in this paper: the first-priority goal is meeting all the varieties of demands, and the second-priority goal is minimizing total costs.
