Investigation of electron transport in ferromagnetic bilayer graphene

In this paper tunneling of electrons from a magnetic barrier in a bilayer graphene is studied. Transmission probability is derived using the transfer matrix method. The results indicate that the increase in the magnetic field strength and the barrier length increases the transmission probability. Moreover, the increase in the incident electron energy leads to appearance of fine oscillations in the probability profile, increasing the probability density for higher electron energies.
