Structural Properties of Magnetars

In this article, we study the effects of constant magnetic field on some properties of magnetars. The parallel and perpendicular pressures with respect to the direction of magnetic field are calculated and the critical magnetic field is obtained. We also investigate the structure of magnetized neutron star by solving the TOV equations.
