Poetry Translation in English and Kurdish Short Review on Hazhar and Fitzgerald Translation for the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam

This paper tends to introduce works that try to transfere Khayyam philosophical and Ideological belifes via translating his Rubayyats Hazhars translation is regarded as one of the greatest poems in Kurdish literature and translation of Khayyams Rubbayies and compare its features with the famous one in English which was undertaken by Edward Fitzgerald in English. Here to do this four of the original Rubbayies selected from original version in Persian and their translations by Hazhar and Fitzgerald but till the end it finds out that the English version undergoes Ideological manipulation and Kurdish one faced with more constraction and lexical changes which both destorted the original work in some of the features, but both can be counted as a valuable works in translation and need to be introduced and more works on.
