Nowadays graphene has attracted great interest for its excellent properties including microwave absorption. Barium ferrite (BaFe12O19), is of great importance as permanent magnet as well as microwave absorber material. In this research the reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was synthesized through reduction of synthesized graphene oxide. The rGO sheets were mixed and milled with barium ferrite in a mechanical milling machine. The phase analysis and chemical bonding in the synthesized nanocomposites were studied by XRD and FTIR, respectively. The XRD pattern showed both phases of rGO and barium ferrite exist in the synthesized nanocomposite. The FTIR investigations confirmed that graphite structure of rGO preserves in the synthesized nanocomposite.
