In this paper, performance of two kinds of zeolites, HZSM-5 and SAPO-34 were
compared.HZSM-5 and SAPO-34 zeolites were modified using cerum nitrate and
lanthanum nitrate by impregnation. The effect of Ce and La on the structure and
its catalytic performance for naphtha cracking reaction by XRD, SEM, BET were
characterized and their performances to produce light olefins were investigated
yield of propylene and ethylene by using modified HZSM-5 and modified SAPO-
34 were studied using a fixed bed reactor. Regarding the performance thermal
catalytic cracking tests, SAPO-34 increased yield of ethylene.
