Historically, mathematics and art have been associated with one another. Geometrical symmetry is an important element for artists to incorporate into their artwork. Symmetry creates balance in a piece of art, and the lack of symmetry can destroy the sense of balance. The aim of this paper is to show how tessellation, regarding its coherent symmetric property, is named as a good example of interconnection between mathematics and art.
