A CMOS active inductor circuit is presented to be used in LC-oscillators. The designed inductor amount is variable and can be tuned via a resistor which is implemented using an MOS device with controllable gate voltage. The suggested inductor is utilized in a VCO with tuning frequency range of 400MHz-1.8GHz. Simulation results in 0.18um standard CMOS process, verify the oscillator and the inductor performance.

چكيده لاتين
