Abstract: Due the safety of natural carbohydrate polymers for environment, in this work we have modified cellulose by alkali-treatments as AC-catalyst. Characterization of AC was archived by FT-IR, TGA, and FESEM analyses. AC represented a superior catalytic activity in synthesis of pyrazole derivatives, while it can be reused in further reaction runs.
