Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple method using leaves of Malva parviflora. The green synthesized ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by X- ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron microscopy (FESEM). The results confirmed the formation of crystalline ZnO nanoparticles The Photocatalytic activity of ZnO nanoparticles was evaluated through photodegradation of Methylene Blue under direct sunlight irradiation. The UV-Visible results indicated that dye has been degraded by ZnO NPs photocatalyst
