Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue using Green synthesized Zinc Oxide nanoparticles

Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were synthesized by a simple method using leaves of Malva parviflora. The green synthesized ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by X- ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron microscopy (FESEM). The results confirmed the formation of crystalline ZnO nanoparticles The Photocatalytic activity of ZnO nanoparticles was evaluated through photodegradation of Methylene Blue under direct sunlight irradiation.
