The reliability of complex system with dependence and standby components

In this paper our study is on the system with “n” active components such that each component is a two-unit system with single cold standby unit. The two simultaneously working components are assumed to be dependent and this dependence is modeled by a copula function. In particular, we obtain a non-explicit expression for the mean residual of the system and also we compare MTTF of three type of systems. an‎d finally, we provide illustrative numerical results for different systems.
