Multi-period supply chain in the presence of dual-role factors: A DEA-based approach

The performance of supply chain networks is usually measured in a special period of time while variations of different periods are ignored. Furthermore, in conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) models, the input/output status of decision making units (DMUs) is usually certain. Nevertheless, there are situations in the real world that dual-role factors exist. In this paper, an approach is proposed to evaluate the efficiency of supply chain networks in multiple periods of time when dual-role factors present. A method based on DEA is suggested for calculating the overall and individual efficiencies of supply chains.
