Preparation and Stabilization Methods of Liposomes as drug carriers

Liposome is used as a carrier in many different aspects like pharmacy and as a drug carrier but the main objective is to achieve selective, and sufficiently high, localization of active drug at disease sites such as tumors and inflamed tissues. Many types of liposomes of different lipid composition and different sizes were prepared. These liposomes varied in their liposome-forming lipid, being with and without cholesterol and /or lipopolymer, their size and method of preparation. The approaches for preparing these different liposomes formulation varies in their lipid hydration and downsizing. At this paper we present different liposomes with different preparation methods and the analysis on what researchers done. Next the parameters and their effect on liposome is well-analyzed. The methods to overcome instability causes are indicated too.
