In this study, an algorithm to find the best gas/oil ratios in miscible gas injection process was presented. Using the
presented algorithm the best gas/oil ratios for two different systems were determined. At first the minimum miscibility
pressure (MMP) was calculated by the Wang theory. Then interfacial tensions were determined by gradient theory at
various pressures and gas/oil ratios. The gas/oil ratio at interfacial tension which is near to zero at the determined MMP
is the best gas/oil ratio in miscible gas injection process. System A is a mixture of four components. For system A the
best gas/oil ratio is 6.14. For system B including 9 components and one pseudo-component, the best gas/oil ratio is
2.22.
