    Any educational institution’s ultimate purpose is to provide students with the best educational experience and knowledge possible. Identifying pupils who require further assistance and taking the necessary steps to improve their performance is critical to reaching that goal. Two machine learning techniques were utilized in this study, as follows: Students’ performance in a mathematical science course given by Wasit higher school, Republic of Iraq, during the duration of the Covid-19 and stopped the face to face education because of Covid19 pandemic in 2021. In this study, it was predicted the math grades for the students by using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) for measuring the factors that maybe have effect the performance of the students in mathematics. At last by the results of a comparative study between the tow algorithms, it was clear that ANN algorithm was better than the MLR.
