    Poly naphthalene Sulfonate (PNS) is a useful admixture to improve the durability and rheological properties systems. In synthesizing this admixture passer from three main steps includs sulfonation, methylolation, and polymerization to characterized the obtained PNS. FT-IR spectrum was provided to identify the functional groups. Elemental analysis (CHNS) results gives the elemental percentage in the composition structure. To identify the crystalline phase was employed XRD spectrum was prepared.. Most of the crystalline phase has been assigned to sodium sulfate which should be separated. ubbehlode viscometer were calculated the molecular weight of final polymer.
