In this paper, we develop a numerical method based on the operational matrix of shifted Vieta-Lucas polynomials for solving Caputo fractional order of delay differential equations. These equations are converted into a system of algebraic equations by the proposed method and using the operational matrix of corresponding fractional derivative. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the method.
