Imatinib anticancer drug (IMA) under the brand name Gleevec Glivec with the ability to treat diverse cancers as a guest drug and beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) as a host molecule were used. The objective of this study was to investigate the inclusion complex interaction of imatinib (IMA) with beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) cavity to improve the solubility, bioavailability and stability of this drug.
