Cyclic Voltammetry of Newly Synthesized Ferrocene Compounds based organosilane

Ferrocene has been extensively used as starting material in the synthesis of new derivatives, and with sandwich complex structure has attracted the interest of many scientists and developed into a fascinating area of organometallic compounds [1]. In this paper, we have reported synthesis and spectra characterization some of siloxy phenyl and siloxy ethoxy phenyl ferrocene derivatives. The electrochemical behaviors of ferrocene, silyl ferrocene derivatives, were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), which is sensitive electrochemical method and permit the collection of excellent data at low concentration of electroactive substance.
