Optimal Age Replacement in K-out-of-n Systems with Weibull Lifetime Distribution

In this paper, an optimal age replacement policy has been studied for a K-out- of-n system, where K is a random variable with support from 1 to n. It is supposed that the lifetime of the system components has a Weibull distribution. Truncated Poisson distribution has been considered for K. The optimal model and the condi- tions for nding the optimal solution have been studied. Numerical and graphical computations have been given.
